Manchester United manager Erik ten Hague has provided an update on Anthony Martial’s fitness.
The forward spent most of February with hip pain, while his last few seasons have been plagued by various injuries.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie with West Ham, Ten Hague was asked if Martial could return to the United fold before the international break at the end of March.

“I hope so but I wouldn’t give a chance. [time]or an expectation of it,” replied the boss, when asked if Martial could feature before the upcoming March international break.
“Let him do his thing, like so many times now, he’s back and he backs off pretty quickly.
“We [have to] Give him time and I hope he’s on board but first of all, at the moment, we’re doing very well in this setup. When he is available we will have another option, a good option.
“Let’s give him time and we’ll see when he comes back. Then we’ll be happy because we have an extra quality option for the rest of the season.”
