Chelsea reject Inter bid for N’Golo Kante

Chelsea have rejected an offer for N’Golo Kante from Inter that included Marcelo Brozovic as a counterweight – and the Blues are also not interested in a deal for Christian Eriksen.

Kante’s 2019/2020 campaign was hampered by injury which limited the Frenchman to just 22 Premier League appearances. Last season aside, the 29-year-old has been consistently world-class since arriving at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2016.

So far, Conte has brought in Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid and Aleksandar Kolarov from Roma. Loan moves for Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella have also been made permanent for a combined £40m, while Alexis Sanchez has arrived on a free transfer – ending his Manchester United nightmare.
