Cody Gakpo has insisted that while his focus is on the Netherlands’ World Cup campaign at the moment, he is happy with talk of a move to Europe’s elite clubs.
90 Minutes understands that Manchester United are interested in Gakpo following summer talks, while he has also been named as a target for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The 23-year-old has already scored twice at the World Cup for a Dutch side who are on course to qualify for the knockout stages.
Speaking ahead of Oranje’s Group A final with Qatar, Gakpo was asked about formal transfer speculation.
“My focus is on the World Cup but it’s always good to hear stories like this,” the player said. “I’m trying not to think too much about it. I try to help the team as much as I can.

At club level, Gakpo has provided nine goals and 12 assists in 14 Eredivisie games for PSV so far this season.
