Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool fans to get ready to celebrate once the coronavirus restrictions are eased after the club won the Premier League title on Wednesday.
The Reds opened their home campaign at Anfield with a 5-3 victory over Chelsea, confirming their title win since June.
The manager told Sky Sports, as quoted by the Mirror: “What can I say? If you don’t see that we do it for you, I can’t really help you.

“Five years ago I asked you to turn doubters into believers. I said it a minute before the press conference. I had no idea when they asked it that they would ask it.
“But you did it, you really made us. Thank you so much. We should all celebrate together. At home, safe, drink all you want.”
“But you have to prepare for a party. I don’t know when this bull*** virus will be over, but then we’ll all have a party together. Make sure you’re ready. Your Thank you very much. “

Of the game, in which Naby Keita, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum, Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored, he added: “It’s a great moment. It’s all about consistency. I. We had to get it, that’s all. Stay greedy.
“I can say whatever I want in the pre-match meeting – ‘You want to win, you have to work hard, Chelsea are very good’. I wonder myself, how you can go through such a transition when you think about it. Do ‘I want to be fine later’.
“I was angry during the game and it was my plan not to be angry. I had fights with Frank Lampard and things like that. You don’t plan for that.”
