Emma Hayes’ side lifted the Super League and League Cup trophies last season, and also managed to add the Community Shield to their list of honors with a 2-0 win over Manchester City at Wembley in August.

When asked to name the three best stadiums they’ve played in, the group do a little ‘Wembley’ chant, before Bright quickly brings up Stamford Bridge.

“Tottenham at the Bridge, he was sick,” remembers Bright. In front of 24,564 fans, Hayes’ side cruised to a 1-0 victory over their bitter rivals, courtesy of Bethany England’s screamer of a strike after just four minutes.

Both Telford and Cuthbert quickly agree, before the latter throws Glasgow’s Hampden Park into the mix.

It is not difficult to understand why Cuthbert loves Hampden so much. In May 2019, his 30-yard strike in Scotland’s win over Jamaica was named Scotland’s Goal of the Year, holding off competition from Liverpool’s Andy Robertson for the award.

“You get those swings and the place bounces,” Telford says enviously as Cuthbert smiles.

Cuthbert’s goal won Goal of the Year.

Elsewhere, the three players discuss a whole host of other topics, including recent binge-worthy series and the latest Instagram followers. Bright gave a shout-out to David Attenborough in both categories, before admitting his desire to watch the broadcaster back-to-back.

For Cuthbert, the dream follower is what most football fans would love to see pop up on their screens.

“Imagine you see [Lionel] Messi follows you”, she says, adding that she would love to see ‘heroes’ Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard follow on Instagram as well.
