Manchester United have confirmed their 25-man squad for the Europa League group stage.
The Red Devils open their European campaign at home to Real Sociedad on Thursday, while they also face Moldovan side Sheriff and Cypriot outfit Omonoia.
United are seeking their second Europa League title – which would secure a place in one of next season’s Champions League pots – and Ten Hague has announced his squad for the group stage.
Despite his insistence on being sold to the Champions League side and sporadic reports that he could even be left out of United’s Europa League roster, Cristiano Ronaldo is in the squad.
Notable absentees are Phil Jones and Brendan Williams, who have spent most of the time out injured in ten Hague’s short tenure so far.
However, similarly injured duo Axel Tuenzebi and Facundo Pelestri are in the squad, while Anthony Elinga is expressly not named as he is eligible for selection via UEFA’s B list due to his nationality and age.
