However, PSG have now provided an update on their star man’s fitness, confirming that his condition will be closely monitored.
“After experiencing some tightness in his calf during Sunday’s match, he has received satisfactory test results. His condition will be re-evaluated in the next 48 hours,” an official statement on the club’s website said. Will.”
Neymar has experienced a busy start to the Ligue 1 season. He missed his team’s opening game due to self-isolation and was sent off the following weekend for his part in a multiplayer brawl against Marseille.

After serving a two-game suspension, it was the Rams’ first game back and they will be disappointed to get the knock. Due to his injury, Neymar’s participation for Brazil in just over a week is doubtful. The Seleção open their World Cup qualifying campaign against Bolivia on October 10 and will be desperate to have their talisman available.
Neymar isn’t the only injury complaint Thomas Tuchel has to deal with. Juan Bernat is currently recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and had successful surgery Tuesday morning.
Former Everton players Idrissa Gueye and Thelo Kehrer are also injured but both should return to full fitness after the international break. Tuchel will need a full-strength squad as PSG look to recover from a poor start to the season by their sky-high standards. They are currently seventh in the table, having already lost twice.
